Southwark Council is proposing improved walking and cycling facilities on Sumner Street, near Tate Modern.
We support this proposal and are asking for the following improvements to make the scheme even better.
- A modal filter on Holland Street South of Hopton Street to reduce the current high flows of people making this loop.
- Loading and parking restrictions should be added for the length of the scheme with all bike lanes being made mandatory lanes, solid white line, and protected with wands.
- We would also like to see a protected cycleway along Southwark Street.
The deadline is 8 March, 2020.
