Out of our area but important none the less.
Firstly, a quick intro for Emile, Laura and Carolyn who were heavily involved. Where possible Emile will assist on other central London projects moving forward
Since the patrol there has been a great response and involvement from the Project team (Laura and Carolyn ccd) with many of the suggestions implemented and the more difficult ones being investigated (Tom LCC has witnessed and given positive feedback). This includes changes to marshal methods, new lining and TM arrangements being tweaked to assist walking and cycling. There has also been a large scale de-cluttering exercise (myself and Emile were out there last Sunday with the Laura (PM) and the contractor). Working closely with Laura we are in the process of arranging a presentation to the contractors on cycling and walking safety methods around works and to look at lessons learnt taking forward for phase 2.
