Over 100 riders took part in the led ride from Peckham to the Freecycle Event on May 29th 2022 with Bruce leading. About 20 also joined a led ride back in the afternoon. It was a great event. Blessed with the perfect weather – sunny but not too hot. The 8 mile circuit of closed roads was packed, but for most of the time was flowing smoothly. Impressive cycle stunts at two of the Festival Zones – doing back flips with just a short take off starting from the roof of a Transit van! Big thankyou to the 9 volunteer marshals, Ange, Raynold, Jean, John, Simon S., Simon K., Werner, Gareth and Jamie.
Freecycle 2022 was great!!

I'm not at at all surprised that so many Londoners back Low Traffic Neighbourhoods.
They make our streets safer and more pleasant, and better for pedestrians and cyclists.
A whopping 70% of Londoners want more low traffic neighborhoodsđ
#LondonLovesCycling - and quiet streets kids can play out on, less pollution & knowing neighbours. Don't believe the naysayers - do help us carry on campaigning for a better London! đ«¶
