As we (actually Bruce) predicted there are “issues” for cyclists at the new northern junction (not roundabout) at the Elephant and Castle.
Some design issues collected as we rode around earlier this week.
The cynical amongst us (that’s most!!) think TFL have made this junction worse for cyclists so we use the bypass routes – which would be fine if the main road crossings were not blocked by ….motor traffic queuing into the new junction!!
E.g. Newington Butts is continually blocked in the rush hour
Also watch the new improved left hook, the new right hook (WHY is it not signalled? !!) and the screwed up advance stop line on London Road going south
