Sunday March 10th was the day selelcted for the Celebration Ride along the newly complelted missing section of Cycleway 4 through Surrey Quays. Alas the weather was far from celebratory. It poured! Despite this 50 people turned up and rode from Cutty Sark to Southwark Park. Excellent to have this link finished. Cycling on this route will be safer and quicker and so will contribute to the continuing growth of cycling in Southwark and neighbouring boroughs. Many thanks to Southwark Cyclists Co-ordinator Simon Saville and his partners in Lewisham and Greenwich for their hard work organising this event.
