You don’t need Gmail to sign up to the Googlegroup
To keep your old email go to: https://accounts.google.com/SignUpWithoutGmail . Use that to get a GoogleAccount.
With your new GoogleAccount signed in, go back to to: https://groups.google.com/ forum/#!forum/ southwarkcyclists
. You can then sign in with your GoogleAccount, but emails will be sent to your existing address.
