Wandle Trail and Morden Hall

NOTE. You must register on Eventbrite so we can limit numbers, link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/london-bridge-to-wandle-trail-and-morden-hall-cycle-ride-tickets-1990593031342?aff=oddtdtcreator

The Wandle trail is one of London’s best off road routes. It follows the river Wandle in southwest London and goes through some lovely scenery. This 4 hour ride will use sections of the trail on both outward and return legs.

Meet 9.30am (note early time) at Southwark Gateway Needle, south side of London Bridge.  Outward via Montague Close, Borough Market, Southwark Bridge Rd, Larkhall Park to Clapham Old Town. Continue along Clapham Common North then Thurleigh Road, Wandsworth prison and Earlsfield where we join the Wandle Trail that takes us all the way to Morden Hall Park. We will take a toilet/refreshment break there. On the way back will again go along the Wandle path then via Burntwood Lane to Clapham Common Southside and Kennington and back to London Bridge for 1.30pm. .

Riders of all ages are welcome on Healthy Rides but under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  Same for “adults at risk”. Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users feel safe. If you cannot make a ride, please cancel so that someone else can take the place.  Remember things can, and do, happen on bike rides and we sometimes get delayed. It is therefore advised not to schedule anything to immediately follow the expected end time. This ride is part of a regular programme of Saturday rides, more information at https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/healthy-rides/.
