On this coming Monday, 24th April 2017, construction work will start on the junction of Albany Road and Portland Place.
This is where Quietway 7 / LCN 23 leaves Burgess Park, heading north to Elephant and Castle.
We are very much looking forward to the finished junction, which will have a separate cycle phase, and protected tracks along the south side of the junction. In the meantime, however, consider using Thurlow Street (to the east) and avoiding the construction works.
This post will be updated once the work has started and we’ve seen how disruptive the construction is.
