Data from TfL’s Travel in London Report 2024 indicate that 4.9% of all trips made by Southwark residents were by bike in 2022-2024. This is an increase of 1.1% from 2008-2011. Southwark remain 5th out of all London boroughs (Hackney are still best at 8.1%), The trend in all Inner London boroughs was similar. The steady upward trend in cycling in Inner London has been present now for 20 years and is back on track after the pandemic. A more detailed anlysis is available here
