We have been handing flyers to cyclists during the morning peak in support of Southwark Council’s Cycle Plan. Great majority happy to take our business card-sized “flyers” and lots of supporting comments. Locations north ends of Vauxhall, Blackfriars and London Bridges. Also stuck flyers to 300 bike hangers. QR code on flyer links to relevant page on this web site (Southwark Council Cycle Plan). So far 300 users have directly accessed the web page. Really pleased with this response. Let’s hope they all go on and support the plan via the Consultation web site (https://consultations.southwark.gov.uk/environment-leisure/streets-for-people-cycling-plan/). Big thankyou to Mary for organising the flyering. NB Can you see our Treasurer talking to cyclists next to the taxi?

Southwark Cyclists is the leading organisation that promotes and supports cycling and cyclists in Southwark. We are a very active and diverse group of people who believe that cycling as transport has not yet been fully realised so we are working with Southwark Council and our communities to promote cycling, improve safety and ensure all new developments consider cyclists' needs
