Southwark Parks and a Velodrome

An easy ride for anyone, including new cyclists, that showcases 4 of Southwark’s larger parks plus its newest. And as a bonus you have a peep at London’s original velodrome – still going strong after 133 years. Start 9.30am in Peckham Square (next to Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre and Peckham Library). Aim to finish back in Peckham Square at 12 noon. Route: Peckham Rye Park, Dulwich Park, Herne Hill Velodrome, the off-road Green Dale path, the west end of Burgess Park, Geraldene Mary Harmsworth Park (Imperial War Museum),Elephant Park (new park), the east side of Burgess Park and the off-road Surrey Canal Path.  Rough map at https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1wzbEnhIKG7-t5XPQGt56tsHcRlNKGAk&usp=sharing.
