Due to fears over Coronavirus this conference has been postponed. No new date set.

Southwark Council is holding a conference ‘Tackling the Climate Emergency’ today. This presents a real opportunity for residents, community and environmental groups and stakeholders to get involved and contribute their feedback to the Council’s climate strategy while it is still at the draft stage.

We will be there. The conference will be at the William Booth Memorial College in Champion Park SE5 8BQ from 9.30-2.30 (includes lunch). The college is directly opposite Denmark Hill station and it’s not as grim as the picture makes it appear. This is hoped to be the first in a series of annual conferences to consider how to make the council be more environmentally friendly and the residents (us) as green as we would like to  be.
