London Bridge to Victoria Park

NOTE. Please register for rides on Eventbrite so we can limit numbers, links: < https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/london-bridge-to-victoria-park-cycle-ride-tickets-886928455887 >

Victoria Park is the oldest public park in London (opened 1845) and bigger than any of our Southwark Parks. Has a lake with fountain, a pagoda and a bandstand where bands still play every Sunday. And it has some lovely wide paths, perfect for shared riding and walking.  We will set out at 9.30 across Tower Bridge and follow mostly quiet streets and paths via Limehouse and Mile End to ‘Vicky’ Park. Then east to the nearby Olympic Park and probable coffee stop at the View Tube. Back via Three Mills, underpass at A12, back streets to Westferry where pick up Cycleway 3. From there basically reverse of outward route back to London Bridge by about 1pm. Ride Leader Amanda. Likely route at https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=17PYDnLncULO4ABJukYz8fU2NRqb9lm8&usp=sharing
