Our Man From the Met, Kevin Phillips, will be taking down the details while a Southwark Cyclist volunteer holds the speed gun. They will be on Dog Kennel Hill near its junction with Quorn Road. Nicely placed to catch those drivers speeding down the hill to jump the lights before the bridge.
The headline is not entirely accurate. As so often -- it's a lot more complicated than that. If it is raining the mechanics will be under the Arch, sheltering. If it is not raining and looks reasonably likely to stay that way they may well be at the foot of the steps beside the ramp. […]
