We are again offering 3 different rides on Saturday 11th July. As last week you MUST book using Eventbrite. All 3 rides are included as a single event. Note that this means the header information on Eventbrite covers the whole event and is not correct for any individual ride. You should choose the ticket for the ride you want. You will find 6 places available for each ride. Social distancing must be maintained during rides.

Important. If you are booked but find you cannot make the ride, CANCEL on Eventbrite. That way we do not wait around, and possibly may be able to let an extra person on the ride. Even at the very last minute it is worth cancelling as some riders keep a close eye on bookings right up to start time.
Note because there are 3 rides with different end times and locations within this “Event” your Eventbrite ticket will give the overall timing and the SE16 post code for all 3 rides. The correct timings and locations are given in the details below.
Ride 1. Canada Water to Blackheath and Greenwich. 10am to 12 noon. Simon leading. Start/finish in Deal Porter Square, SE16 7AR. Chance to learn some local history on a route that includes lots of off road path. Outward leg on the Thames Path (Cycleway 14) to Greenwich, then up the hill through Greenwich Park to the Observatory. Short loop on to Blackheath then back through Greenwich Park and on to Greenwich DLR Station. Pick up Cycleway 1 and take this to Millwall Ground (New Den). Then quiet streets to Southwark Park and on to Deal Porter Square. Approx. 11 miles, just one hill (in Greenwich Park) that can be walked.
Ride 2. Dulwich to Crystal Palace. 10am to 12 noon. Bruce leading. Start/finish Dulwich Clock Cafe, Dulwich Park, SE21 7BQ. Relatively flat route to Crystal Palace Park, then ride up through the park (having a look at the dinosaurs on the way and walking the steep bits). Finally glorious long downhill back to Dulwich Park. Ridden this route several times, see report of our ride in the snow, Feb 2nd 2019, http://healthyrider.weebly.com/healthy-ride-reports-jan-march2019.html. Route https://goo.gl/rfUzwn.
Ride 3. Burgess Park to the Royal Parks. 10am to 1pm. Jane leading. Start/finish at Park Life Cafe, Burgess Park, Chumleigh St, off Albany Rd. SE5 0RJ. 10am to 1pm.
