The good doctor is back again with his enormous bag of tools and his failthful assistants (who use his and bring their own). They will index your gears, tighten your brakes and give you wise advice on your chain, tyres and everything else bike-related. Maps, fighting talk and gossip about cycling in Southwark and beyond also available.
He will be under Peckham Arch at the south end of Surrey Canal Path which is the lovely bit of woodland heading down into Peckham.
PCSOs getting grumpy and expensive about cycling on the pavement at the north end of Rye Lane seem to be there most mornings at the moment. They want people to use the cycle path which goes round the edge instead of going straight on. Always worth keeping an eye open for
