Southwark Cyclist volunteer Bob Eva and PCSO Kevin Phillips will be at the junction of Village Way and Half Moon Lane, trusty speedgun at the ready. This is a good spot for catching speeders, I’m told. The community volunteer wields the gun and Kevin writes down the numbers and makes of the speeders. Then he sends the info plus names and addresses to TfL which sends out rude letters. It’s fun and you can join in. Email Kevin at kevin.j.phillips@met.police.uk and he will sign you up to a date and location of your choice. He’s very affable but his disapproval of bad driving is strong.
