Direct Vision lorries consultation closes on Tuesday, April 18.

These proposals are that HGVs should be rated on a five star scale for the driver’s direct vision around the cab (as distinct from indirect vision, via mirrors and sensors); and that zero rated HGVs should be banned from London’s roads from January 2020 and only HGVs with three stars and above should be allowed from 2024.
TfL has done rigorous scientific research to support these proposals. Details of this research are set out in the CONSULTATION section of TfL’s website.
