The Central London Grid proposal from TfL is out to consultation until Feb 14th. They want “general comments”. There will be further consultation at Borough level when final designs are developed. Southwark Cyclists will take part in the LCC discussions. But it is also intersting at this stage to look at the Southwark part of the grid. In order to get a feel for it, it is worth looking in detail even at this stage. I have produced a relatively small sized version of the published map and aded a few bits (see below). In addition I have gone over the grid road by road and commented on the potential problems in the word document linked below. At the moment we cannot develop a discussion forum on this site. However, the Yahoo group and our Facebook page are available. I would also be happy to receive e-mail comments (b.lynn@ucl.ac.uk), and also reports on some of the crossings that are not familiar to me and which I have highlighted.
