Start 10am, Peckham Square (next to Peckham Library and Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre, SE15 5RY). 2 hour ride.. Gentle ride passing (and sometimes stopping) at locations associated with Charles Dickens. Dickens was imprisoned in Southwark at the Marshalsea and located his novel Little Dorrit there. He also referenced many Southwark locations in his books. In addition to Dickens, Southwark has many more literary associations and the ride will note Shakespeare and others along the way. 10 miles, route map at https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=13O1qRo66ONju77rIxhE7vMO0fYEWONE&usp=sharing, Bruce leading. This ride is based on Charlie Holland’s route published at https://www.cycleconfident.com/media/public/downloads/Southwark_Shakespeare_and_Dickens_Cycle_Route.pdf where there is a lot of interesting information. 10 miles, Bruce leading.
