Ride 1. London Bridge to Covent Garden and Spitalfields

About 10 riders led by Jamie on a day with a dodgy forecast. Set out from the Needle (Loondon Bridge) at 10am. Back at about 1pm.

Note from Jamie (Ride Leader) on WhatsApp: “A virtually dry ride to Covent Garden and Spitalfields for coffee and donuts. Many thanks to Mike for marshalling our great drew.”

Comment from John: “Thanks Jamie – good cycle, good coffee.”

Ride 2. The Snoopy Trail in the City

Seven riders at Burgess Park for the Snoopy ride. First ride being led by Jacqui T. Jacqui is an experienced Breeze ride leader having a turn with the Healthy rides. Forecast poor (wet) but dry as we met and stauyed that way for the ride. Aim was to do the Snoopy in the City sculpture trail so headed for Blackfriars Bridge then crossed to the trail, picking it up off Queen Victoria St in the SW conrner of what is designated the “Fleet Street Quarter” of the City. Followed the meadering trail in and out of alleys as far as Holborn Circus then back, briefly in The Temple and ending up by St Pauls. Relaxed at the Reflection Garden (corner of New CHange and Cannon St) then rode to London Bridge where we ended the ride.

Excellent ride. Complex route followed faultlessly by Jacqui. Wonder what happens to the 12 “sculptures”?
