From Jacqui; Thanks to Chau and Jackie D for backmarking.
From Sshelagh: Thanks Jacqui for leading us to such a beautiful place and taking me to parts of London new to me.
Route oultine: There and back makes an excellent 11-mile, 3 hour ride. Starting from The Southwark Needle, London Bridge, Cycleway 14 and cross river at Southwark bridge. Through the City and follow C11, then C1. Return via Clissold Park then C1 back to the starting point on London Bridge.
Woodberry Wetlands is a haven for wildlife in North London: 11 hectares of reed-fringed ponds and dykes. Excellent Coal House café accessed by walking along boardwalk.

Bruce leading from Burgess Park. 15 riders.
This is a ride that has evolved over several years and was most recently led by Simon S. This year I (Bruce) was back leading.
Here is where we went this year. After start in Burgess Park [1] short ride to St Peters Church off Walworth Road where we peeped at Faraday Gardens [2] and pedalled through the St Peters Church Gardens [3]. Crossed Walworth Rd then past Fielding St Allotments [4] and Pelier Park [5] to Pasley Park [6] (site of Royal Surrey Gardens in the 1800s, that also had a zoo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Surrey_Gardens). Exit to Doddington Grove noting Walwoirth Garden [7] then passed Doddington Grove Garden [8] and headed to Kennington Park [9]. Rode through the park past Bees Urban then across Camberwell New Rd and in to Foxley Rd. Cut through the well hidden Mimi Garden, [10] past Dan Leno Gardens, [12] to Eythorne Park [13] (with Marjorie Daley’s Tangerine Tree, https://www.drostle.com/myatts-field-artwork/). This is a relatively new park created as part of the Myatt’s Fields North redevelopment completed around 2015–2017. You can walk up the roof of the wedge-shaped Community Centre and one rider (guess who) did this. Next a short loop to briely enter Myatts Fields [14] then Loughborough Rd and across Brixton Rd to Slade Gardens [15]. Toruous route took us past Durand Gardens and to the house in Hackford Rd where Van Gogh lived for a while. Continued across Clapham Rd and round Albert Square [16] then across S Lambeth Rd and down Lansdowne Gardens with several trees in blossom in it’s delightlful circus [17] . On we cycled past Oasis Nature Garden (locked) [18], Larkhall Park [19] to St Paul’s Churchyard, Old Clapham [20] and the Eden Nature Garden (https://www.edennaturegarden.org/) [21]. Next Clapham common [22] the largest open space on the ride. From there a fast downhill ride to Windmill Gardens [23] next to the magnificent Brixton Mill. On to Brixton Hill which is flanked on the west side with a strip of greenery for over a mile, almost its entire length. At the point where we met it it is called Rush Common [24]. Heading east via the Tulse Hill Estate arrived at Brockwell Park [25] and went up and over to Rosendale Rd and round to Bel Air Park [26] the other sizable park in Dulwich. Next Dulwich Park [27] itself, stopping on the way at the Dulwich Estate Village Orchard [28] opposite the Picture Gallery. After a stop at the Dulwich Clock Cafe left Dulwich Park via the Court Lane Gate and sped down Barry Rd to Peckham Rye Park and Common [29]. Now very late so skipped the small parks in Peckham, headed dowm the Surrey Canal Walk [30] to Burgess Park.
30 green spaces including two new ones, Mimi Gardens and Myatts Fields. Need and extra half hour with these included. Route map at https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=11RalWZh7zasX7ipafNVIMBBiZRZ4_0c&usp=sharing
