Ride 1. London Bridge to Buckingham Palace

Report from Ride Leader Simon K.
Seven of us left London Bridge at 10.00 with a pleasant temperature and no wind. An uneventful ride to Parliament Square and on to Buckingham Palace. After several weeks of disappointing temperatures the sun bought out the crowds, especially being the schools 1/2 term week. Five of us had a coffee stop near Horse Guards, where it was warm enough to sit outside, then chose to ride the Cycleway 3 path back to London Bridge, arriving back at 11.45. A short, but pleasant ride to blow away the cobwebs with grateful assistance from Tony, Mike and Nigel as back stops, with Helen for keeping up with the pace, and David & Malcolm keeping us amused.
Ride 2. Parliament Hill from London Bridge

Jamie led this group of 13 riders up Parliament Hill AND Primrose Hill. Declared it “a really fun ride”. Reported on WhatsApp: “13 riders completed a rather muddy ride today. Some parts of Parliament Hill were impassable by bike. We also found ourselves trapped in the middle of hundreds of brave and bedraggled cross country running teams. Primrose Hill by comparison was somewhat quieter.
We were back 3 minutes early. Many thanks to Mike K and Nigel B for their excellent marshalling and backstop duties.”
Comment from John C.: “Excellent cycle today Jamie to Parliament Hill (& the Primrose too!) – thanks “
