Healthy Ride, May 8th, 2021
Rain eased just in time for this 2 hour ride from London Bridge to Battersea and back. The idea was to say goodbye to Ursula, the Tunnel Boring Machine that had driven from Battersea to Chambers Wharf, Rotherhithe over the last year. Part of the Thames Tideway (a.k.a. Super Sewer) work. She was sititng on a floating platform ready to go to Rotterdam. Alas she did not depart on the midday high tide (actually departed on the next one at midnight).
