Very brief overwiew from Ride Leader Jamie: “Everything seemed to go ok today. 11 riders in all. “

And post of WhatsApp: “Thank you all for coming and making it such a fun day. Many thanks to our Marshals Mike, Nigel and David who ensured that we were compliant with the Park rules of riding in packets of 5 riders 10ft apart. I have just received an apology from the Duke and Duchess of york for their absence but apparently they were at Pizza Express in Woking.”

Comment from Shelagh: “Thanks Jamie, expecially organising a polo game for us to watch”. And from David:”Thanks for another great ride Jamie. And we cheated the rain somehow”

Ride 2. Peckham to  9 Elms and Vauxhall

Nine Elms, close to Sky Pool.

Notes from ride leader Eduardo: “All good and dry. No incidents. Started with 6. Pick up Kate at (Burgess) Park. People went for a coffee at  gallery. Stopped for 40 min. Back to Peckham at 12.15. Part of the group went to Damien Hirst gallery nearby ” Note the stop was in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens.

The group also had a look at the new Effra Quay on the Thames next to Vauxhall Bridge.
