Nine Park Circuit in Lewisham and Bromley

New route for us exploring some of the many parks in Lewisham plus a few in north Bromley.  9.30am start, 1pm finish. 15 to 20 miles. Start/finish Peckham Rye Park Café (The Round). Then  Beckenham Place Park –  Kelsey Park (coffee stop) – Alexandra Rec, – Mayow Park , cross over the railway line – Sydenham Wells Park – Baxters Fields – Horniman Gardens – Dulwich Park- back to Peckham Rye Park. Lots to see, notably Lake and heronry in Kelsey Park and a secret Wren. It will be reasonably flat but rising up to Sydenham with a little of Kirkdale. Mostly quiet streets or paths in the parks, but also a short stretch of the South Circular briefly at Forest Hill. Dave P. leading.

Riders of all ages are welcome on Healthy Rides but under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Same for “adults at risk”. Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users feel safe.  If you cannot make a ride, please cancel so that someone else can take the place.
