New 19km (12 mile) route from Ride Leader Simon S. Will be ridden at a nice easy pace and suitable for all levels of cyclist. Start 10am, Peckham Square (Next to Peckham Library and Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre, SE15 5RY). Finish back at Peckham around 12.30. Places that we will go through/past, in order: Warwick Gardens (www.insectinside.me) – Camberwell Grove and Greendale – Rosendale Road – West Norwood Cemy – St Luke’s Church, West Norwood (“Waterloo”) – Dulwich Park (coffee/WC) – Peckham Rye Park – Nunhead Cemy, inc. Scouts’ Memorial and Anglican Chapel ruins – Nunhead Grove – Rye Lane. Not a flat route, but only 2 significant uphills and total climbing 180m.
