Lord Mayors Show – Healthy Ride

Second Saturday in November is date for the annual Lord Mayors Show, a procession of bands, floats and carriages around the streets of the City. The streets are cleared of traffic. There is a narrow window mid-morning when, expertly led by Werner, we have been able to enjoy these empty streets. And also sneak a view at some of the participants preparing for the parade which starts 11.03 (after the 2 minute silence for Remembrance) from Mansion House.
Start 10am at London Bridge (south side next to the Needle). Cross London Bridge, then negotiate with police and other security staff. Route clearly very uncertain. Can opt to stay and watch more of the parade or return with a guided group aiming to get back to London Bridge 12-12.30.
