London Black History

October is Black History Month and Werner and his neighbour Sam have designed a short ride visiting sites associated with Black History in London, mostly pre-Windrush. Start at 10am from London Bridge (Southwark Needle), plan to be finished by 1pm. Route will include (not in this order!) Royal Exchange, St Thomas’ Hospital, Nelson’s Column, Senate House, British Museum, Dr Johnson’s house and a few City locations with links to slavery (e.g. Jamaica Coffee House, Cornhill). 12 mile circuit. We are reckoning on up to 3 hours, depending on length of stops.
