10.00am start at Peckham Square (Peckham Library). Back for 1.00pm. Simon S leading. We’ll go to the famous Lewisham Dutch Elm in Ladywell Fields, and stop for coffee and views in Brockwell Park on the way back. The aim is to visit as many elm trees as possible in a short ride. The elms should be in fruit, and very visible. In addition a couple of “Elm” roads. As a bonus, we may see a fine avenue of cherries still in blossom in the Herne Hill area. 14 miles, mostly on quiet roads and cycleways. A few ups and downs but nothing tough.
