The doctor doesn’t look anything like this of course but it’s a media tradition that everything is improved with a picture of a good looking young woman and why should I resist.

The three guys that do all the work are not actually bad to look at especially when they are working on your bike. They index gears, tighten brakes, pump up tyres and talk seriously about chain health (chains like being cleaned). Assistants will ply you with maps, gossip and local cycling-related info until you look so bored they can’t help but notice.

All this for your bike. It’s free. All bikes are welcome. We are all part of the London Cycling Campaign which campaigns to make London safer for cyclists (what could be better?). Most of us are members but you don’t have to be. Most of live in Southwark but you don’t have to. As at all the best parties, there are no rules, just wander up.
