TfL and the Met are studying the Speedwatch stats and trying to make patterns with them. So this Speedwatch will be in a location only previously done at the weekend. At the weekend it catches loads of drivers, particularly cabbies. The aim is to see whether it is better or worse when the tradesmens’ vans are rushing about. Doing the work of holding the speedgun and writing down the numbers will be a Southwark Cyclists’ volunteer and PCSO Kevin Phillips.
