Southwark Cyclist volunteer Bob Eva and the Met Speedwatch team will be at the junction of Sydenham Hill and Crescent Wood Road between 6-8pm. The speed limit is 20mph so they can expect a good haul. The volunteer holds the speedgun and the representative of the Met takes down the colour, make etc so that drivers can be held to account. They are both nice so wave to them as you go by.
Yet another serious crash on the A205, following the crash a few days ago (where residents have started a petition for a zebra crossing).
Nearby there is also new damage to the railings at the jct with College Rd.
Speeding and mobile phone use is rife on the South Circular.
