Southwark Cyclists’ volunteers represent the community and PCSO Kevin Phillips represents the police. Together they spot speeding drivers and send them threatening letters. This is good. Even better is that they find so many that the Met have started doing it themselves and issuing real fines. I’m told that the speedgun is fun and it’s not as cold as it was (I can tell that for myself). You can join in. Mail kevin.j.phillips@met.police.uk and he will send you some days and times to choose from and away you go. Kevin is very affable (see pic above)
