Bob Eva will be representing the community and holding the speed gun. Looking after him will be his personal police protection officer, Kevin Phillips. Kevin gets between Bob and angry drivers. The picture doesn’t show one of their captures but you get the idea. Bob and Kevin will be exercising their skills in Herne Hill at the junction with Holmdene Avenue.
Anyone can join in. If the idea of pointing a speedgun at motorists attracts you then mail PCSO Phillips on kevin.j.phillips@met.police.uk. He will be very pleased to hear from you. If you are nice he will invite you to a party on December 6th from 2pm.
