Burgess Park to Dulwich Park Loop

Start/finish Burgess Park, Stomping Grounds Café, Eduardo leading. Start up Rye Lane to Peckham Rye Park, then up Friern Rd and down to Dulwich Park. Cross the park possibly having a break at the Café where we often start rides. From Dulwich Park a short hop to the Herne Hill Velodrome. Just a flying visit to briefly watch the action at this amazing place. Another short ride to Brockwell Park. If time go past recently renovated Brockwell Hall. From Brockwell take the last leg back to Burgess Park, with the option of including Ruskin Park. Easy ride, some short hills, lots of traffic free paths in parks and low traffic streets. Good ride for relatively inexperienced cyclists who would like to gain experience and learn new routes. Everyone welcome. Riders of all ages are welcome on Healthy Rides but under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Same for “adults at risk”. Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users feel safe. If you cannot make a ride, please cancel so that someone else can take the place.
