I know we are all thinking so hard about Christmas Day that it’s difficult to think about the world afterwards. However for all those who think that it might be nice to get out of the living room and into the fresh air (and especially nice to take the kids away from their electronics) here is a Boxing Day ride.

It’s part of the series of Saturday rides though of course not on a Saturday. So it is two hours long, easy paced, open to all, no need to book and free for everyone. It starts from Canada Water at 10am. East Dulwich station has easy access by bike and there are lifts at Canada Water which will take 3 full-size bikes at a time.

It will be led by Werner and head into town to look at Sculptures in the City and enjoy the empty City streets. Info on Sculpture in the City is here: [www.sculptureinthecity.org.uk]. Among the highlights is a Tracy Emin near the Gherkin and a picture is attached.

No need to book. Just turn up. These rides are organised by Bruce Lynn and friends on behalf of Southwark Cyclists. We are the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign which campaigns for safer cycling in London. They are open to everyone. You don’t need to be a member of the group, or the LCC or to live in Southwark.
