The Bike Train to Blackfriars/Faringdon and Mayfair will run again next Wednesday, same day and times. If this range of destinations isn’t exactly to your taste, get in touch and we will pimp your ride to suit you.

We leave Nunhead station at 8am and Peckham Rye Station (from the bike stands behind McDonalds) at 8.10am. Don’t be frightened, we go quite slowly and our route takes in two parks, a traffic-calmed backstreet, the Elephant and Castle bypass and the mayor’s lovely new segregated lanes.

the segregation is over Blackfriars Bridge and from there we can take riders to Faringdon (and points further north) and down to the segregation on the Embankment and head off towards Westminster

Last week’s Bike Train had glorious weather and the two parks en route were looking their best. One rider said “I had a spring in my step all day” and “I loved the blossom-filled park. I never knew it was there”.

It will still be there next Wednesday and this week’s photo is chosen to remind us all that spring is on the way.
