Rotherhithe to Peckham Cycle Route – A new cycle route rom Rotherhithe to Peckham (essentially Surrey Quays Station to Queens Road Peckham Station and with a branch down Meeting House Lane). It’s essential people write in and ask the council to reduce traffic voluments, especially in the Peckham area. Read the guide for how to respond here. Harper Road – A new cycle route on Harper Road (as part of the Southwark Spine route). The deadline for the consultation is Sunday 21 May 2023. Southwark’s proposed new scheme is inadequate as it doesn’t address the excessively high volumes of traffic in the area. They must install modal filters instead. We urge everyone to respond to the consultation to oppose the proposals and call for measures that cut traffic instead. Advice on how to respond is here.
