I couldn’t truthfully tell you that this is a good likeness of our bike doctor. In fact I could truthfully tell you that it isn’t. However I could also truthfully tell you that he’s very good at his job and works very hard.

He’s coming to Quietway 1 for the first time with supporting bike health workers. With the bike nurses he will be indexing gears, tightening brakes and pumping up tyres as well as giving wise advice. The doctor likes a challenge so bring your problems along.

His aides and attendants will be handing out literature, discussing the latest news on bringing safe cycling to the Old Kent Road and gossiping. Everything is free. Everyone is welcome. A good time will be had by all unless it rains in which case I don’t know what we will do.
