Usual easy-paced ride on mostly quiet roads and paths. Out and back ride to Look Mum No Hands, the original cycle cafe. Ride across Burgess Park, along Walworth Green Link, back streets to CS7 and Southwark Bridge, quiet roads across City, past the Barbican, to Old St. Time for a coffee break in the warm, then back the same way. Yet another serious crash on the A205, following the crash a few days ago (where residents have started a petition for a zebra crossing).
Nearby there is also new damage to the railings at the jct with College Rd.
Speeding and mobile phone use is rife on the South Circular.
