Ride 1. Wandle Trail and Morden Park

Gloria leading from London Bridge, 11 riders.
Ride 2. South London Parks and Herne Hill Velodrome

Eduardo leading from Peckham. 5 riders.
Notes from Bruce. Despite dire forecast 5 riders started from Burgess Park in dry conditions. Soon had some sunny intervals as we headed up through Peckham Rye Park to Dulwich Park. Everything very green after recent rain. Next a brief stop at the Velodrome where usual Saturday activities were under way. Big group circulatng on the track, youngsters on the mountain bike trail and beginners doing cylce training in the central area. Next coffee in Dulwich Village at Porters Barber and Barista. Yes, a barbers that also brews excellent coffee! On to Ruskin Park where Eduardo took us to a new sauna and cold dip enterprise tucked amongst the trees and wild flowers. Plenty cllients present, looked promising, especially the advertised “Sunrise Dip”. Quick run back to Burgess Park in bright sunshine. Very enjoyable morning. Many thanks to to Eduardo for stepping in with this ride at the last moment.
