NOTE. You must register on Eventbrite so we can limit numbers, link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/canada-water-to-haggerston-train-assisted-cycle-ride-tickets-1980402148136?aff=oddtdtcreator
Meet at Deal Porter Square next to Canada Water Library, opposite the station or meet at 10.25 at Haggerston Overground Station (Please indicate on registration if meeting at Haggerston). For the outward leg will take the Windrush Line (Overground) to Haggerston. Both stations are step free access. Be sure to bring contactless card or equivalent (£2.90 fare). The ride back is full of interest including London Fields, short stretches of Regents Canal towpath, Victoria Park, Mile End Park, Limehouse Basin and St Katherines Dock. Finish over Tower Bridge and back to Canada Water via Cycleway 14. Usual easy-paced ride on lots of off road paths and some quiet streets. Back by 12.30. Hopefully time for a coffee stop at the Ragged Museum Cafe. Ride suitable for all styles of cyclist. Everyone welcome. Route at https://goo.gl/zuUrvb
Riders of all ages are welcome on Healthy Rides but under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Same for “adults at risk”. Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users feel safe. If you cannot make a ride, please cancel so that someone else can take the place. This ride is part of a regular programme of Southwark Cyclists “Healthy Rides” on Saturday mornings, more information at https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/healthy-rides/.
