For some years we have arranged a picnic with Lets Go Cycling (https://www.facebook.com/groups/2243369265928023/?locale=en_GB). It is a social event, but we do amuse ourselves with a few silly cycling games Location this year is Ladywell Fields near the Good Hope Café, (51.49805, -0.04906, ///events.league.ocean). Kicking off at 12 noon. Bit more information in the Events Listing including details of a feeder ride from Canada Water via Peckham Rye Park Café. We invite local LCC Groups including Greenwich and Lewisham Cyclists and are happy for any cyclists interested in social rides to turn up. Bring friends and family too. Let’s see you there on Saturday 10th August.
Its Picnic Time!!!!

I'm not at at all surprised that so many Londoners back Low Traffic Neighbourhoods.
They make our streets safer and more pleasant, and better for pedestrians and cyclists.
A whopping 70% of Londoners want more low traffic neighborhoods😍
#LondonLovesCycling - and quiet streets kids can play out on, less pollution & knowing neighbours. Don't believe the naysayers - do help us carry on campaigning for a better London! 🫶
We’re pleased that the dangerous echelon parking on Dulwich Village is being switched to parallel bays as part of the forthcoming CPZ.
In the meantime it’s nice to see a temporary change of use of some of the space, enabling sustainable and healthy travel.
RT @CleanAirDulwich: It’s great to see space repurposed to prioritise pedestrians instead of cars. This pavement is now significantly wider…
What a difference a School Street makes!
It’s now much safer for everyone travelling along Greendale outside @JAGSschool. Thank you @lb_southwark @mcash @margynewens @RM_Leeming #StreetsForPeople
Southwark Cyclists is the leading organisation that promotes and supports cycling and cyclists in Southwark. We are a very active and diverse group of people who believe that cycling as transport has not yet been fully realised so we are working with Southwark Council and our communities to promote cycling, improve safety and ensure all new developments consider cyclists' needs
