For my first ride of 2014 I’m trying something slightly different…..no trains are involved in this circular ride, sometimes quite

hilly which links some ‘highlights’ of south London and environs. We’ll take the Waterlink way from Catford down to Bromley

South then head out of Bromley through Hayes and make a gradual often very steep climb up to Down. Going east

we’ll meet the Darenth valley, and take a lunch stop, possibly at a pub in Shoreham. After lunch we’ll loop back towards

London from near Eynsford, up through Jubilee Park and Chiselhurst to Bromley south. From there, the route back to

Catford/Brockley is via Beckenham and Forest Hill, arriving by c.16:00.

It’s darker now, so please bring some lights; don’t forget inner tubes, and warmer clothing, just in case.
