Easy-paced 8 mile ride to be led by Jamie with, as the title says, great views. 10am start at Peckham Square, next to Peckham Library and Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre (SE15 5RY). Finish at Cutty Sark to allow those who wish to enjoy the Greenwich Festival in all its gastronomical and artistic splendour. Look out for the “We are watching” flag that will be flying on its 10 storey flag pole by the Royal Naval College (see https://wearewatching.org/). Route: Brockley / Hilly Fields / Brookmill Park / Blackheath / Greenwich Park Observatory / National Maritime museum /Cutty Sark. Mostly using quiet back roads or paths. The idea will be to spend a few minutes at each viewpoint. Not too sure about timing, but should be at Greenwich in well within 3 hours. Previously ridden 22 May 2021.
