Peckham’s Rye Lane has been closed for gas works for 5 months. It was supposed to be longer, but a surprising lack of things going wrong means it’s reopening early.
Southwark Council are interested in hearing your experiences of cycling on and around Rye Lane during the closure. They’ve collected data on pedestrian and cycle numbers (up) and motor traffic (down) but would like some qualitative feedback too. Did you prefer cycling there with it closed? What about the wider area? What would have made it better?
