In light of the recent spate of cyclist deaths over the last two weeks, an event run by experts from the Met Police Cycle Task Force will give cyclists the opportunity to sit in the cab of an HGV in order to see the challenges posed when driving a vehicle such as this on busy city streets.
The event will take place tomorrow (Wednesday 20 November) at the junction of Tooley St and Tower Bridge Road from 7.30am – 10.00am. Also included are:
- Free cycle security marking from the Met Police
- Free Doctor Bike service
