DESCRIPTION:Our meeting format has changed. Our Southwark Cyclists meetings are now on the 2nd Wednesday of the month and we hold a meeting with Better Streets for Southwark on the 4th Wednesday of the month.\n \nWe hold our meetings over Zoom. If you’d like to join email us at Southwark@lcc.org.uk. \nJoin us for our Monthly Meeting on Wednesday 10 February at 6:30pm. At these meetings we discuss current campaigns\, cycling infrastructure\, and cover organisational business. This was previously our Committee Meeting. \nWe also hold our Better Streets Talks with Better Streets for Southwark on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm. During these meeting we have speakers\, hold workshops\, and will give an update about our latest news.

Better Streets for Southwark hosts these meetings with speakers\, workshops and gives updates about the latest healthy streets developments in Southwark. \nThis month the topic of discussion is the pedestrianisation of Rye Lane. \nRye Lane was transformed last summer when motor traffic was removed to allow space for physical distancing. This has made shopping\, walking and cycling through the area safer and more pleasant. \nA new campaign has been started to make the pedestrianisation of Rye Lane permanent. Come and hear about the campaign and how you can add your support. \nA petition has been started to make the pedestrianisation permanent. Please sign it here.
