SUMMARY:Canada Water to North Greenwich - Healthy Ride
DESCRIPTION:You must register on Evenbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/healthy-cycle-ride-from-canada-water-to-north-greenwich-tickets-116377838247 \nIf you cannot make it\, please cancel so that someone else can take the place. Even at the last minute it is worth cancelling. \nEasy\, flat ride\, lots of off road. Mostly following the Thames Path both out and back. Route includes Deptford Maritime waterside\, Cutty Sark and the O2.  We will keep everyone as safe as possible by observing all the Covid Regulations. Most importantly we will be maintaining routinely a 2m social distance\, never less than 1m. Particularly important to maintain social distancing from other users of the Thames Path.  Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users can maintain 1-2 m and feel safe. After discussion with London Cycling Campaign have decided that current Covid regulation do permit up to 30 riders. So this is something of a trial.  Particularly important to maintain social distancing from other users of the Thames Path.  Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users can maintain 1-2 m and feel safe.

Jane leading. Start/finish at Park Life Café\, Burgess Park\, Chumleigh Gdns\, off Albany Rd\, SE5 0RJ. Easy 16 mile ride with some nice off road in the parks and lots to see. Outward go through Hyde Park and on to Holland Park. Probably stop at the Design Museum for a short break\, then return via Brompton Cemetery and Battersea Park. Should be back at Burgess Park around one o’clock. \nSame route as July 25th with 6 riders. SUMMARY:Online Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:We are trialling having our committee and general meetings on different days. General meetings will be held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (as before) and committee meetings will be held on the 4th Wednesday of the month. Meetings will be held online over Zoom until further notice. \nJoin us for our August committee meeting on Wednesday 26 August\, 2020 at 6:30pm.
